USS SILVERSIDES
Immerse yourself in the USS Silversides Submarine ~ a real WWII submarine that brings history alive in a way that can only be appreciated by walking where heroes walked.
Come spend a night aboard the USS Silversides Submarine and make history come alive. Walk the decks, explore the sub and the cutter, then sleep in the berths where brave men once served our country. Truly an unforgettable experience for you and your scout.
The USS Silversides Submarine Museum is located on the South side of the channel between Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake near Pere Marquette Beach.
The encampment will start at 5:30 pm – we will have access of the museum after it closes until lights out, so no need to arrive any earlier.
We will have pizza and drinks around 7:00 or 8:00 pm.
Sunday AM we will need to clear our gear out before the museum opens. You will be allowed to linger in the museum, but gear must be taken from the museum.
